Responsibilities
As a Technical Garage Coordinator, you are responsible for the day-to-day organisation and supervision of our workshop operations. Acting as the operational point of reference, you coordinate daily activities, support a team of approximately 15 mechanics and ensure that maintenance and repair work is carried out safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Your main responsibilities include:
Operations Coordination
- Organise, plan and supervise the daily activities of the workshop;
- Allocate tasks efficiently according to operational priorities and available resources;
- Ensure the quality of maintenance and repair work carried out;
- Optimise the use of personnel, equipment and workshop resources;
- Provide technical support to mechanics whenever required;
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and internal procedures.
Team Management
- Lead, coach and motivate a team of approximately 15 mechanics;
- Promote a positive, collaborative and performance-oriented working environment;
- Support the development of employees' technical skills and professional growth.
Collaboration & Administration
- Work closely with the Garage Manager, Planning Department and other internal departments to ensure smooth workshop operations;
- Manage the administrative follow-up of work orders, intervention reports and completed work;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of workshop organisation and processes.
Profile
- You have experience in a supervisory role within a technical environment or possess the leadership skills required to manage a team;
- You have solid technical experience in the maintenance and repair of commercial vehicles;
- Experience with trailers and tail lifts is considered a strong asset;
- You are organised, decisive and able to perform well under pressure;
- You have excellent communication skills and know how to motivate and support your team;
- You are comfortable with administrative tasks and digital tools;
- You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of English.
