Responsibilities

As Legal Manager, you act as the Group's legal advisor and support the business on contractual, commercial and corporate legal matters. You lead the legal team while ensuring the company's activities are legally secure and aligned with business objectives.

Team Management

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Legal Counsels and Paralegals;
  • Organise workloads and allocate responsibilities across the team;
  • Foster knowledge sharing and professional development.

Legal Advice & Contract Management

  • Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders;
  • Ensure the legal security of the company's contractual commitments;
  • Support contract negotiations and drafting;
  • Develop pragmatic and innovative legal solutions aligned with business needs.

Litigation & Legal Affairs

  • Supervise pre-litigation and litigation matters, including contractual, commercial and other legal disputes;
  • Manage the Group's real estate legal matters;
  • Oversee the administrative and legal follow-up of vehicle-related claims and disputes.

Corporate Governance & Compliance

  • Supervise all corporate legal formalities (board minutes, corporate records, powers of attorney, legal publications, etc.);
  • Coordinate legal and regulatory monitoring and ensure relevant information is shared internally;
  • Train and raise awareness among operational teams on legal topics such as GDPR and compliance.

Profile

  • Master's degree in Law;
  • Around 10 years of relevant professional experience;
  • Excellent analytical, drafting and problem-solving skills;
  • Organised, methodical and detail-oriented;
  • Autonomous, flexible and able to perform under pressure;
  • Strong leadership and people management skills;
  • Excellent command of English;
  • Knowledge of Dutch and/or German is considered a strong asset.
