Responsibilities
As a Team Leader, you are responsible for the operational management of a warehouse located at the Trilogiport site. As the driving force behind your area of responsibility, you coordinate daily activities, lead operational teams and ensure the smooth execution of warehouse operations to deliver outstanding service to our customers.
Your main responsibilities include:
Operations Management
- Organise, coordinate and supervise the daily logistics activities within your warehouse;
- Allocate resources according to workload and operational priorities;
- Ensure compliance with deadlines, internal procedures and agreed service levels;
- Anticipate, analyse and resolve operational issues to ensure business continuity;
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and internal procedures.
Team Management
- Lead, coach and motivate team members on a daily basis;
- Organise shift handovers and communicate daily objectives and priorities;
- Monitor both individual and team performance;
- Identify training needs and support the development of employees' skills;
- Foster a collaborative, positive and performance-oriented working environment.
Customer Relations
- Act as the operational point of contact for customers regarding warehouse activities;
- Participate in operational meetings with customers when required;
- Proactively follow up on customer requests, incidents and corrective actions to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement actions to achieve operational objectives;
- Identify process improvement opportunities and propose initiatives to enhance quality, productivity and safety;
- Provide regular reports to the Warehouse Supervisor on performance, operational challenges and action plans.
Profile
- Proven experience in a logistics environment, ideally complemented by an initial experience in team management;
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage teams;
- Excellent organisational, coordination and prioritisation skills;
- Ability to make decisions quickly in a fast-paced operational environment;
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset;
- Analytical thinking, a strong sense of responsibility and a results-driven approach.
