Responsibilities
As a Project Coordinator, you play a key role in the development of the JOST Group's logistics activities. Acting as the link between customers, internal teams and the various group sites, you manage customer integration projects while contributing to the continuous improvement of existing logistics operations.
Your main responsibilities include:
Project Management
- Lead the operational integration of new customers into the Group's logistics network;
- Coordinate all stakeholders (customers, operations, IT, finance, quality, etc.) to ensure the successful delivery of projects;
- Develop, monitor and implement project implementation plans;
- Translate customer requirements into clear and efficient internal processes;
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to agreed service levels.
Continuous Improvement
- Conduct logistics process audits across the Group's sites;
- Identify improvement opportunities and recommend optimisation initiatives;
- Actively contribute to the Group's digitalisation and automation strategy;
- Support the standardisation and documentation of operational procedures.
Operational Coordination
- Act as the Supply Chain reference point for cross-functional projects;
- Ensure effective communication between Operations, IT, Sales, Quality, Safety and other departments;
- Support operational sites during project launches, peak periods and customer audits;
- Train and support local teams during the implementation of new processes and operational changes.
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or equivalent;
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management and/or logistics operations;
- Strong understanding of logistics activities, including conventional logistics, pick-pack-ship, co-packing, e-commerce, re-bulking, bagging and related operations;
- Good knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics management tools;
- Strong IT skills, including ERP systems, advanced Excel, Qlik Sense, Power BI and similar tools;
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, Prince2 or equivalent) is considered an asset;
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills;
- Analytical mindset with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong leadership, autonomy, organisational skills and customer-oriented mindset;
- Professional proficiency in French and English is required. Dutch is an asset, while German is considered a strong advantage.
