As a Heavy-Duty Workshop Manager M/F/X, your main mission is to organize, coordinate, and supervise all technical activities related to the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of heavy-duty vehicles, ensuring the quality of interventions, safety, and workshop productivity. Your responsibilities are as follows:
• Organize and schedule workshop interventions.
• Supervise the work carried out.
• Ensure follow-up of interventions: diagnostics, repairs, inspections, tests.
• Guarantee the quality of repairs and compliance with deadlines.
• Manage vehicle arrivals throughout the day and prioritize tasks.
• Manage parts orders.
• Manage spare parts inventory.
• Supervise, support, and motivate the mechanics.
• Ensure task allocation and performance monitoring.
• Train, support, and develop the team’s skills.
• Ensure a positive and professional working environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and internal procedures.
• Proven experience in managing a heavy-duty workshop.
• Technical training in heavy-duty mechanics.
• Good command of French and English. Any additional foreign language will be considered an asset.
• Strong service orientation, rigor, autonomy, and team spirit.
• Solid knowledge of heavy-duty mechanics.
• Ability to use computer tools.
• Understanding of safety and quality standards.
• Leadership, organizational skills, and ability to unite a team.
