Social ethics

JOST upholds respect for individuals and their families and friends and ensures full compliance with the labour code. At the same time, it makes sure that its employees, service providers, suppliers and subcontractors comply with national and international standards (human rights, human trafficking, child labour, diversity, discrimination, harassment).

JOST undertakes to:

  • Comply and monitor compliance with labour code rules in terms of health and safety and working conditions.
  • Make sure that all employees are at least 16 years old
  • Make sure that no forced labour in whatever form is used within the group
  • Ensure that its employees enjoy good working conditions
  • Respect employees’ freedom of association
  • Avoid all forms of discrimination (race, caste, country of origin, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, union membership, political affiliation or age), whether with regard to recruitment, pay, access to training, promotion, dismissal or retirement.
  • Promote the career development of staff and enhance their skills
  • Fight all forms of discrimination with regard to staff recruitment, pay and career development
  • Promote safety and provide good working conditions and well-being at work
  • Raise staff awareness to the benefits of staying fit (sport, nutrition, etc.)
  • Promote and facilitate a good work-life balance
  • Select its partners, suppliers and subcontractors without discrimination in accordance with social criteria.
