JOST announces the acquisition of CTJ Janssen GmbH Spedition & Logistik, a leading road transport and logistics company in Germany. This strategic move marks a new milestone in JOST's European growth journey and reinforces its position in one of the continent's most important markets.
Based in Grevenbroich, CTJ Janssen has built a strong reputation as a reliable partner in full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation. The company operates a fleet of approximately 400 vehicles and coordinates nearly 650 vehicles daily through a robust network of transport partners across Germany and Western Europe.
With an expected annual turnover of around €135 million, CTJ Janssen serves a portfolio of renowned industrial and retail customers, including Beiersdorf, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Nestlé, Metro, OBI and Reckitt.
The integration of CTJ Janssen into JOST will strengthen the company's footprint in the German market while creating new growth opportunities for both organizations. The acquisition is built on strong operational complementarities, a shared commitment to service excellence and significant commercial synergies.
CTJ Janssen will retain its organization and operational autonomy, ensuring business continuity and maintaining the close customer relationships that have contributed to its success. Operational management will continue under the leadership of Thomas Köhler.
For JOST, this acquisition represents a key step in its long-term European development strategy. It will further expand the group's transport and logistics offering while enhancing its ability to support customers across major European markets.
This combination brings together CTJ Janssen's recognized expertise in Germany and JOST's international network strength, creating new opportunities for growth and value for customers, employees and partners alike.
