Beehives Coming Soon at Jost?

As part of our commitment to biodiversity, we have enlisted Frédéric Yans to set up and maintain our future beehives next spring at Jost. Thanks to his expertise, we will not only contribute to the preservation of bees, these essential beings of our ecosystem and therefore the Earth, but also educate members of our Kangaroo Family who are interested, and produce high-quality honey.

Frédéric Yans, a Passionate Beekeeper

For over 10 years, Frédéric Yans has distinguished himself through his passion and dedication to beekeeping. As a beekeeping instructor at the School for Social Promotion in Grâce-Hollogne, Belgium, he is not only an expert but also a true nature lover. His biocentric view of the world, which places nature and living beings at the center of his concerns, is reflected in every aspect of his work.

Respectful and Organic Beekeeping

Frédéric Yans goes beyond traditional beekeeping practices by adopting methods that are respectful of bees and the environment. His approach is perfectly aligned with organic and apitherapeutic standards, ensuring product quality while ensuring the well-being of the bees.

Apitherapy Expert: The Beehive Serving Health

Recently graduated in apitherapy after training in Lyon, Frédéric Yans explores the health benefits of beehive products. Apitherapy, which uses products such as propolis, honey, royal jelly, pollen, and bee bread, is central to his work. All of these products are known for their antibacterial, detoxifying, antioxidant, immune-boosting, bactericidal, and germicidal properties, making the beehive a true natural pharmacy. He has also developed an innovative concept of breathing beehive air, specially designed for people with respiratory issues.

Breeder and Queen Selector

Frédéric Yans manages three apiaries located in Grâce-Hollogne, Liège, and Juprelle. As a queen selector and breeder, his role is crucial in maintaining and evolving the different colonies. He meticulously selects them to ensure hive stability and honey production.

Conclusion

At Jost, we believe that every action is essential to protect the environment, and this collaboration perfectly aligns with our vision of a responsible and sustainable company.
