EcoVadis is an independent rating tool, which analyses our sustainability efforts based on our current business processes.

The most relevant industry impact factors for JOST are to continue to closely care about the management of both our employees’ health and safety and reducing our environmental impact. 

Thanks to the screening carried out through this tool, we have improved our understanding of the importance of showing how we work on sustainability aspects.

Doing it is crucial; showing it is absolutely necessary in a market where competition runs high!

As a European company active in the freight transport by road, rail and river and in connected warehousing services, it was time to determine JOST's position in this sector. 

To do so, we built your EcoVadis scorecard.

• Our global score is 50/100, which is quite high for the sector!
• The 62nd percentile means that our overall score is equal to or higher than 62% of all companies in the sector assessed by EcoVadis worldwide.
• On each of the 5 results (Global, Environment, Social, Ethics and Responsible Purchasing), we are above the average score for the sector of activity

Each of these areas of attention and development leads us to focus on integrating them more and more precisely into our daily processes and ways of working.

We will be carrying out a complete re-evaluation of our organization in 2021 and hope to earn SILVER or even potentially GOLD!
