As part of its constant evolution, JOST is looking for an immediate hire for a Management Controller - Permanent Contract to strengthen its site in Weiswampach, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

FUNCTION
 

• Analyze the financial health to improve the company's profitability
• Perform various analyses: turnover, discrepancies between forecasts and actual profits, short and long-term financial forecasts, budget and commercial objectives
• Supervise the accounting closures and inventory operations
• Measure, control, and forecast the company's operational results (management indicators, financial risk control, and discrepancies with forecasts)
• Support operational staff with analyses
• Monitor the budget and control the company's overall management by implementing monitoring tools
• Collect financial and accounting information from subsidiaries, departments, production units, or services
• Actively participate in the company's management
• Comply with and enforce current laws, regulations, and procedures
• Harmonize accounting and financial procedures within the company
• Report results to the management committee (monthly analyses, economic and financial studies, activity summaries, etc.)
• Write reports (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual)
• Advise decision-makers (general management, department heads, managers) in decision-making to calculate financial costs, assess risks, and propose alternatives

PROFILE
 

• Bachelor's degree +3 or Master's degree
• 5 years of experience in a similar role is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of economics, management, accounting, taxation, and corporate law
• Understand the specific concepts of the company and its businesses
• Organized and meticulous
• Strong observation skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Synthesis skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English and French. German is a significant asset
