We are looking for a logistics trainer for the Liège region

Missions

  • The Logistics Trainer is responsible for transmitting the knowledge and skills required for logistics professions (receiving, order preparation, shipping, stock management, driving machinery, etc.).
  • They help develop employees’ competencies while ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of logistics operations.
  • They play a key role in the continuous upskilling of teams and in the professionalization of the sector.


Main responsibilities:


Training and facilitation

• Prepare, deliver, and assess theoretical and practical training sessions (receiving, picking, stock management, safety, handling equipment, etc.).
• Adapt training content according to the audience (new hires, temporary workers, drivers, logistics operators, etc.).
• Use active and diverse teaching methods (role-playing, e-learning, quizzes, videos, demonstrations…).

Educational design

• Participate in the design and updating of training materials (theory, practice, videos, e-learning, etc.).
• Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of the Jost training center.
• Help create internal training paths and skill certification programs.

Evaluation and follow-up

• Assess participants’ learning progress.
• Analyze training needs and non-conformities, propose corrective actions.
• Evaluate skills acquisition after training.
• Monitor post-training performance and outcomes.

Profile:

  • Degree in logistics (bachelor, diploma, or equivalent)

  • At least 5 years of experience in a logistics environment (forklift operator, team leader, internal trainer)

  • Holder of forklift/reach truck/front loader licenses

  • Good command of French and English; Dutch is an asset

  • Knowledge of Belgian logistics regulations

  • Strong understanding of logistics processes (WMS, stock management, inbound/outbound flows)

  • Familiar with warehouse safety and quality standards

  • Comfortable with digital and office tools

  • Official forklift trainer accreditation is a plus

  • Teaching experience and a passion for knowledge transfer

  • Excellent listening and communication skills

  • Practical mindset, positive and team-oriented

  • Positive leadership and ability to motivate teams

  • Rigorous, safety-minded, and exemplary

  • Culturally and linguistically adaptable
