We are looking for a Fleet Manager for our Herstal site

Missions

The Fleet Manager ensures the full administrative management and follow-up of the company’s vehicle fleet. They ensure regulatory compliance, the availability of vehicle documents, and smooth coordination between various internal and external departments, both in Belgium and abroad.

Administrative management of the fleet: vehicle registration, creation and updating of data in various software systems and internal programs, orders and goods entries.
Monitoring of vehicle documents and key duplicates: verification, updating, and archiving of mandatory papers (insurance, certificates, licenses, attestations, etc.), as well as recovery of missing documents. Key movement management.
Technical inspections: planning, monitoring, and validation of technical checks to ensure the legal compliance of the fleet.
Creation and management of driver files: preparation and updating of complete folders containing all necessary driving documents.
Intersite coordination: organization of document exchanges with Group subsidiaries and maintaining contact with foreign branches.
Management of new or transferred vehicles: close follow-up of a detailed schedule to ensure the quick commissioning of new trucks, in coordination with the relevant departments.
Management of outgoing vehicles: collection and centralization of all necessary documents and elements to enable their resale under the best conditions.
Monitoring of telematics tools: implementation and management of telematics equipment tracking and its proper functioning, reporting, and corrective measures.
Monitoring and improvement of procedures: ensuring compliance with standards and contributing to the optimization of administrative processes related to the fleet.
Various: ad hoc analyses of fleet performance, cross-functional projects.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Transport or several years of experience in a similar position.

  • Good knowledge of the road transport or automotive sector and related legal obligations.

  • Good command of French, Dutch, and English. Knowledge of Romanian or German is an asset.

  • Proficiency in modern office tools and fleet management software.

  • Knowledge of telematics tools is an advantage.
