The Storage Hall Manager is responsible for the operational management, personnel, and customer satisfaction within their storage hall. They ensure maximum productivity, compliance with safety regulations, and continuous operational quality.

As a representative of Management, the Manager scrupulously upholds the Group’s values as well as the company’s culture and objectives. All decisions must fully align with these principles. The Manager is expected to apply directives with clarity and firmness while fostering a positive and productive work environment. They must act responsibly, safeguarding the employer’s interests.

Achievement of Objectives and Performance Evaluation

The Hall Manager is evaluated at least annually based on the achievement of predefined objectives. These objectives are aligned with this job description, with the ultimate goal being the optimal execution of all operations within the assigned storage area.

The Manager is responsible for all hall operations, whether during “regular” working hours or beyond. They must establish a robust and autonomous management system so that their absence does not hinder operations, and demonstrate flexibility and availability to support activities when required.

Qualifications, Skills, and Working Conditions

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in warehouse or storage hall management

  • Degree in logistics, production management, or related field is an asset

  • Proficiency in French and English (written + spoken); knowledge of German is an advantage

  • Strong command of logistics management software

  • Excellent management and organizational skills

  • Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict management abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of labor regulations and safety standards

  • Resource planning and optimization skills (equipment, workforce, etc.)

  • Primarily on-site work with variable hours depending on operational needs

  • Availability to work outside normal hours to ensure continuity of operations
