The main mission of the ERP Manager is to ensure the proper configuration, optimization, and maintenance of the ERP system for accounting and financial processes, guaranteeing data reliability, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency on an international scale. This role is essential to support financial closings, financial reporting, and group performance analysis.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Financial ERP Management and Optimization:

  • Ensure the configuration, maintenance, and development of the accounting and financial ERP modules (General Ledger, Subledger, Fixed Assets, Treasury, Tax, Consolidation, etc.).

  • Optimize financial and accounting processes within the ERP (workflows, automation, interfaces), identifying areas of improvement to enhance efficiency and reliability.

  • Guarantee the consistency and integrity of financial data in the ERP, as well as its integration with other modules (purchasing, sales, inventory, production) and related systems.

  1. Support and Training:

  • Provide level 2/3 technical and functional support to the financial teams of the group’s various entities.

  • Develop and deliver training sessions for key users and accounting teams on ERP usage and new features.

  • Draft and maintain functional documentation, procedures, and user guides.

  1. Project and Change Management:

  • Actively participate in ERP deployment projects in new subsidiaries, version upgrades, or implementation of new financial features.

  • Gather business requirements from finance teams, translate them into functional specifications, and collaborate with IT teams and external integrators for implementation.

  • Conduct testing (functional validation) of developments and fixes before production rollout.

  1. Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure the ERP meets local and international accounting and tax requirements (IFRS, US GAAP, country-specific tax regulations).

  • Collaborate with consolidation and reporting teams to ensure the ERP provides the necessary data for consolidated financial statements and performance analysis.

  1. Technology and Regulatory Watch:

  • Stay informed of ERP developments and best practices in financial information systems.

  • Monitor regulatory and accounting changes that may impact ERP configuration.

Profile Required

  • Education: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Information Systems, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years of significant experience as an ERP Finance Manager, ERP Functional Specialist (Accounting), ERP Finance Consultant, or similar role.

  • Excellent command of one or more major ERP systems (SAP FI/CO, Oracle EBS Financials, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Workday Financials, Sage X3, etc.).

  • Experience in an international or multi-entity environment is a major asset.

  • In-depth expertise in accounting and financial processes (general ledger, subledger, tax, treasury, consolidation, management control).

  • Ability to understand and translate business needs into technical and functional requirements.

  • Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and consolidation principles.

  • Proficiency in office tools, particularly Excel (advanced functions).

  • Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and rigorous.

  • Excellent communication and training skills to interact with diverse stakeholders (finance, IT, operations) from different cultures.

  • Autonomy, proactivity, and teamwork skills.

  • Adaptability and stress resistance in a constantly changing environment.

  • Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory. A third language is an asset.
