The bodywork specialist is the beautician of the automobile. He has a keen sense of well-done work and notices the slightest defect in a body panel, even a brand-new one.
The trade involves four different but complementary aspects: disassembly/assembly, sheet metal work, surface preparation for painting, and painting. His know-how requires great dexterity and is acquired over time and with practice. The bodywork profession is constantly evolving: materials are becoming lighter, paints more efficient, and tools and equipment increasingly advanced.

Knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics is an asset

Technical (TP) or professional (P) training with diploma
