DESCRIPTION

As a Sheet Metal Worker - Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilder, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and safety of our fleet, thereby consolidating JOST's reputation in the sector.
 
You will be responsible for the following tasks
 
  • Carrying out sheet metal work, welding and boiler making on trailers.
  • Maintaining the superstructure of trailers, semi-trailers and lorries, including welding, sanding, floor repairs and checking for leaks.
  • Repairs and dent removal on composite, aluminium, steel and wood doors.
  • Repair and straightening of stanchions, side posts and sideboards.
  • Surface preparation before painting.
  • Welding and tarpaulin repairs.
 
Your expertise will ensure that our vehicles meet JOST's high quality standards, guaranteeing customer satisfaction and reinforcing our position as a leader in the transport sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Diagnose and resolve problems relating to the structure of trailers.
  • Work with the team to ensure that vehicles are available in accordance with preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Professional experience

At least one year's experience in a similar role, preferably in the HGV, agricultural or industrial mechanics sector.

Welding and boiler making

Welding and boiler-making skills, with proven expertise in aluminium and steel welding.Significant expertise in boiler making, including bending, cutting, dent removal and grinding on materials such as steel and aluminium.

Technical versatility

Working independently and as part of a team.
Versatile metalworking skills, including cutting and bending.
Proven skills in woodworking.

Thoroughness and professional quality

Attention to detail, quality-oriented.
