JOST has been engaged in responsible sourcing activities for many years. In this context, JOST has defined a number of actions.

• When selecting products and services, we take account of social and environmental aspects.
• Partners, suppliers and subcontractors are selected on the basis of criteria including ecological, social and sustainable purchasing aspects.
• We assess the environmental and social performance of our suppliers.
• We call on our suppliers to sign the sustainable purchasing charter, under which they undertake to comply with all legal requirements on protecting the environment, human rights and ethics.
• JOST would like to see its suppliers demonstrating their commitment to protecting the environment, regularly assessing the environmental impact of the product supplied over its whole lifecycle.
• We encourage our suppliers to take measures aimed at promoting systems for returning and thereby reducing packaging waste.
• Our goal here is to permanently reduce the negative environmental and social impacts of our purchases, to establish constructive long-term relationships with our suppliers and to improve sustainable practices throughout our supply chain.
